01 · BEFORE DELIVERY
Your driveway or front or back yard may be suitable when the surface and access allow safe delivery and collection. Confirm your proposed location with Fleetwood before the truck arrives.
Allow at least 50 feet in length and 20 feet in width for drop-off. The space needed varies with bin size and site conditions; ask Fleetwood to confirm clearance for your container and location.
Choose a clean, level surface. Keep the truck route and placement area free of obstructions, including low wires and tree branches. Tell Fleetwood about slopes, gates, narrow access and surface concerns before booking.
If the bin will not be on your own property, check with city officials, the property owner and any applicable homeowners association about permissions or permits. Have any required approval in place before delivery.
Not sure the truck can reach the spot? Contact Fleetwood with your measurements and access details before selecting a location. You can also compare approximate bin dimensions.
02 · WHILE LOADING
Fleetwood does not allow its bins to be machine loaded. Confirm a suitable loading method with the team if your project depends on equipment.
Spread material evenly throughout the bin. Keep the load level with the sides, with nothing sticking out above the bin and no overloading on one side.
Check the Material Guide before loading. Prohibited material must stay out; some accepted items carry surcharges. Drywall needs a drywall-only bin, and concrete or dirt need a suitable rock box.
03 · BEFORE COLLECTION
Call Fleetwood at least one day before you need pickup. Bins are not automatically collected when the included rental period ends. Confirm the collection date with dispatch.
Move vehicles and other obstructions away from the bin and truck access route. Ensure gates can be opened, and arrange any required access with dispatch before collection.
An overloaded bin cannot be collected, and a call-out fee will be charged. Check that material is level and evenly distributed, and contact Fleetwood before pickup if the load is unsafe or exceeds the agreed limits.
Mixed-waste dumpsters include five rental days; rock boxes used for dirt or concrete include three. If you need an extension, contact Fleetwood before the agreed pickup date to confirm availability and additional rental charges.
YOUR SITE CHECKLIST
Use this checklist before you confirm delivery or call for collection.
This checklist is a planning aid on this page; ticking a box does not notify Fleetwood or arrange a service.
