FLEETWOOD MATERIALS GUIDE
Start with the material. We’ll help match your load to the right container and confirm the disposal arrangements before you book.
KNOW YOUR NEXT STEP
Material type, weight and condition determine the container and receiving requirements. Use this guide as a starting point, then confirm your specific load with Fleetwood.
START WITH THE LOAD
One project can produce several waste streams. Describe each major material separately so Fleetwood can review the load, city and disposal route.
Furniture, household clutter, cardboard and general cleanout debris may be suitable for a mixed-waste bin after review. Tell us about bulky pieces, appliances, mattresses and anything that may need separate handling.
Wood, flooring, roofing debris, metal and other renovation materials may be accepted in an appropriate container. Drywall needs its own drywall-only arrangement. Describe treated or mixed materials and list drywall separately.
Concrete, brick, soil, sand, gravel and asphalt are dense loads. They generally require a rock box and must be kept separate from general project waste. Share the material and estimated amount so the load and weight can be reviewed.
Identify clean wood, scrap metal, branches and other yard materials separately. Condition, quantity and whether they are mixed with other waste can affect the handling plan. Ask before combining material streams.
SEPARATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Separating suitable materials helps arrange the right disposal or recycling route. Receiving requirements depend on the load, so confirm the proposed setup before booking.
CHECK BEFORE LOADING
Do not put a questionable or restricted item in a bin until Fleetwood has confirmed acceptance and handling requirements. Some items may need a separate service, disposal route or charge.
Tell the team if material is mixed, treated, wet or contaminated. Do not assume a special item is included in a standard bin.
