Fleetwood Waste offers six container options for Metro Vancouver and Lower Mainland projects: two rock boxes for approved dense loads and four mixed-waste dumpster sizes. Choose the material stream before choosing the volume.
8- and 10-Yard Rock Boxes
Rock boxes are low-profile containers for approved concrete, dirt, rock and other dense materials. The 8-yard rock box is approximately 12.5 feet long, 8.5 feet wide and 2 feet high. The 10-yard rock box is approximately 16 feet long, 8.5 feet wide and 2 feet high.
Describe reinforcing steel, soil, asphalt and any other contents before booking. Do not combine household junk or general renovation debris with a heavy-material load.
10- and 20-Yard Mixed-Waste Dumpsters
The 10-yard dumpster is a starting point for smaller approved cleanouts and renovations. Its approximate dimensions are 10 by 8.5 by 4 feet. The 20-yard dumpster provides more volume at approximately 18 by 8.5 by 4 feet. Tell Fleetwood about the actual waste and access rather than selecting a bin by room count alone.
30- and 40-Yard Mixed-Waste Dumpsters
The 30-yard dumpster is approximately 18 by 8.5 by 6 feet. The 40-yard dumpster is approximately 20 by 8.5 by 7.5 feet. These options suit larger volumes of approved, relatively lighter debris; they are not substitutes for rock boxes carrying concrete or dirt.
Plan the Rental and Pickup
Mixed-waste bins include five days. Rock boxes used for dirt or concrete include three days. Confirm extensions and additional charges in your quote. Fleetwood does not automatically collect the bin when that period ends: call for pickup with at least one day’s notice.
Confirm Access and Materials
Container measurements do not include the truck’s operating space. Share gates, overhead obstructions and placement conditions before delivery. Drywall needs a separate drywall-only bin; hazardous waste, appliances and electronics must stay out of mixed-waste bins.
