MATERIAL & PROJECT FIT

Wood type changes the disposal plan.

Clean solid wood, manufactured boards, treated lumber and painted material can follow different receiving rules. Give the team a complete description so the load is routed appropriately.

Solid lumber and pallets

Identify clean lumber, construction offcuts and pallets. Mention nails, fasteners and other attached materials.

Manufactured wood

Flag plywood, particleboard and other glued or engineered products. Confirm acceptance before combining them with other wood.

Painted or treated wood

Describe coatings, treatments and the material source. A wooden item is not automatically suitable for a clean recycling load.

CHOOSE YOUR NEXT STEP

Match the arrangement to the load.

Container choice follows material approval, amount and site access. Prices vary by city and material; use email and city to view available rates or request a written quote.

A CLEAR PLAN

Four details to confirm before booking.

  1. 01

List the wood types, coatings and treatments.

  2. 02

Separate wood from drywall, concrete, soil and other waste.

  3. 03

Estimate the amount and describe long or bulky pieces.

  4. 04

Confirm the container and receiving arrangements before loading.

If the material or project changes, contact Fleetwood before adding new items. Your written quote confirms acceptance, container, timing and any additional charges.

Can all wooden items be recycled together?

No. Wood type, coatings, treatments and attached materials affect the receiving requirements. Creosote-treated ties and fire-damaged material must be kept separate from regular mixed waste. Review the wood guidance and contact Fleetwood before combining the load.

Which bin size should I use for lumber?

Give approximate volume and the size of long pieces. Fleetwood can review a suitable container after confirming the material and site access. You can compare Fleetwood bin sizes and contact Fleetwood for help matching the container to your material and site.

Can I add other renovation debris?

Only add the renovation materials agreed with Fleetwood for that container. Drywall needs a drywall-only bin, and concrete or dirt need a suitable rock box; do not mix them into a wood load. Review the Material Guide and contact Fleetwood before changing the material list.
